Default Re: 170cc engine enough power for SD 40% Yak?

I have 2 Fromeco 4800 on the power expander, 2400 on the ingnition and a 3 cell 2400 on the seiko rudder servo. Only CF is a CF tail tube. Titainium tail wheel. No spinner. Menz 32-10 for break in. Will try a 34-10 later. Started out with all the batteries up in the motor box and the tail hung down about 20 degrees when picked up by the wing tube. After flying it there for a few flights I moved the batteries back one at a time. Have the 2 4800 and the seiko 2400 all behind the wing tube on the rudder servo tray. The ignition battery is still up front. This is a realy good 3D CG.

R Nick.. I have the same exact color scheme as the one on your avatar. I will be using fromeco (2) 2600 pack with a power expander and a 2600 pack for ignition. 3 cell pack for my seiko. Where did you place the seiko? Do you have pictures of your setup?

R Nick...What angle did you set the servo arm? I will be using the same one. Do you have anymore pictures of your install?

Thanks

I made the rudder arm the same off set as the stock arms that came with the plane. The last time I checked it was 5970 with a Menz 32-10. It only had about 6 flights on it then and still a little rich.

34-10 is the biggest prop they recommend. It started to run good after about 3 gallons but I think they said it takes about 15 to get it completely broke in.
