Default 3W 106 correct prop size?

Hi i am running in my 3w 106 with a 26x12 3blade engel ss i have only used around 1 gal and still with mineral oil 40:1 i am getting 5700 rpm i want to switch to a 26x10 or 27x10 biela 3 blade for the scale looks and for a little more pull without switching to a 2 blade prop , but not shure wich size 3 blade is best for the 106, any info make my day..

Try a 25 x 12 three blade or a 26 x 10...

Do you want torque or horsepower? I'll get some serious arguements (I have the dyno results, they don't) on this but using a 28-10 two blade Biela the 106cs develops it's best torque at around 5850 rpm. It's best horsepower is in the area of 7,000 rpm but torque drops about 25-30% from peak at that point.

So a larger prop at lower rpm may well provide better performance than a smaller prop at higher rpm.
