Drill press for me, Plaster.... I feel that there is no room for error this way , but with the drill guides Im sure a cordless would work fine. I drill my first hole then run a dowel through the guide and into the first hole so it wont shift when I drill the next five. Hope this helps!!!

I have a wife and 2 kids in the apartment. My wife would give me Hell if she smells the KICKER. I had to go the hallway to spray the clearcoat and CA.

My brother bought one so I use his all the time. It actually works pretty well. It bogs down if you try to drill large holes in super hard woods. I do have an industrial one , but for smaller jobs this one is easier to set up. I have seen some real good deals at Home Depot on national brand name drills. I will let you know if I see one...

Yeh this is a problem for me as well. My wife calls my cell when Im in the basement asking if Im burning the house down. Because of my 20 month old, I will do the painting and heavy chemical things in the garage.
