Hi Brad.

I am flying a 3W 275 with a 37 x 13, the recommended prop for the 420 is 2 blade 36x15-36x18 34x14 three blade. You should see the RPM around 1200-7500. you can find lots

of places to make you a prop. G&L hobbies I believe make custom props for large engines. You may just have to try different prop sizes until you find the one you like

if you are not happy with the recommended sizes. What are you seeing with the msc props........low Rpm?

i also have a 3w 275 in a hemple extra i am running a 36x14 bolly on it and it is the perfect combo . I also live a 4500 ft witch has alot to do with it to if that helps . the problem i have with either the mxc or the bolly is that going into a hover it loads the motor up so bad that it has zero climb from a stand still the motor is draged down so low that it can not recover . i was thinking maybe a 37x12 or a 38x10 or 12 something like that bigger blade with less pitch. What do you think.
