I agree and disagree with Tbob. He is right on one account that typically new things have some teething problems. But on the other hand, no one has one so we don't know that. I would assume the new 110 would come with the new gaskets and the new sealing method as well as the the alum carb block. So far that has been 3W's teething problems in other motors. If you can confirm these with your 3W distributer than I'd say go for it! I also want the 110, just don't have the funds for now. Especially since I have to bail out all those idiots that bought more home than they can afford.

Exactly, I had a blue head 106 and the power was great. I don't really think it needed anymore power if that is possible. Bobby told me the only difference is the larger bore so I wouldn't think it would make that big of a difference.

I'm with T-Bob. Let the first generation go by until any hidden issues are tended to. 4cc's is not going to outperform a 106 by enough to be noticed.

besides the extra 4cc on the motor.....is there really any changes at all? I would think it's exactly the same motor as the 106 as in the case , jugs , carb , gaskets , probably down to the exact bolts every where correct? I would think it's probably just a slightly bored out 106.....but who knows? Either way , it's going to be a beast of motor i'll bet.

dont be stupid buy a 110, the resale value of the motor will far be more than a 106, you cant dump a 157cs vs a 170cs . As far as teething probs there ain't none is a bored out 106 (that did all the teething) with new induction block and ignition timing and ignition. The risk of getting a 106 is the risk of getting old stock with the plastic block which made them harder to tune. With the new block leave the needles where the factory set them and GO!! (unless you ar at some huge altitude or you let the plugs go crappy) it will run perfect out of the box.
