It looks like I need to get my DLE-111 engine repaired. I think a rod bearing went for a little ride. Found some metal on the crank side of the reed block. I feel it binding when i spin it over.

Does anyone know who services the engines? I bought it on RCU in new never run condition back in April. I don't know if there is any warranty or not.

Thanks in advance.
Had the same thing happening to me. This appears to be a known problem with the manufacturer! Mine came from hobbycity, and thanks to the distributor (Fei ao Models) and manufacturer (DLE) i have a new engine on it's way!!

thanks for the comments guys!
The plane are the EF yaks! 1 is 110" with DA-100 on twin RE-2's
The other is the 88" with the DLE-55 and RE-2.

I definatly will put a different prop on it! i didn't know it was gonna rev that hard on the 22x8! i have already got a biela 22x 10 to try. will see how that goes.

Regarding Xian Fei Ao Models, you might want to take a look at the notice on the DLE website

I am using A123 batteries (not on this) but I see its a big no no to run anything close or over 6 volts. I have a Spektrum 4.8V 1100MAH Nicd pack. Can anyone guess how much flight time I may get out of this or should I up it to a 1500. Thanks
