I run Amsoil Dominator 50 to 1. I have also run my engines on the Amsoil 100-1 premix as well. This after 3 or so gallons of dino oil in the premix.

Boys,

I bet my left one ADI cant get amsoil or if he can ten bottles would be a same price as new DA50.

I use straight mineral oil, just a dang good brand name at 50:1 and they run like a swiss watch.

Some synthetics that may be on your area Adi would be Motul or Shell. I have used them a lot on Brisons and again the engine has 100's of flights and not a smidgen of wear or any evidence of gumming things up.

Bottom line any good quality oil will keep them running but DO NOT USE OUTBOARD oil as it cannot take the temps. Yes someones going to come in and say the Mercury or Johnston have a good one but the reference is general. Water cooled two strokes dont get near the temps our aircooled toys do, especially if you hang it on the prop for any length of time.

Hey haggy,

Where are you getting the amsoil?? I was planning on using castrol activ 2T for break in. Then switch to castrol TTS synthetic or motul 800 synthetic. Will this be ok??
