Default ARC Direct-540 Edge

Hi Everyone~I just bought a 41% Edge 540, by ARC Direct out of Canada~I was wondering if anyone has one, or has flown one~I would like to hear about the "build", and flight~I'm powered by a 3w 150~It should come in around 40 lbs.~

Thanks!

I won't recieve the plane for two weeks~As soon as I get it started, I'll post some pics.

Larry

Well~It's been over two weeks, and still no airframe~It seems as though "Mother Nature" is blowing her ice as far south as Waco, texas~(that's where the Edge is SITTING)~he is going to try to make it up to K.C. next weekend~Wee will see~

Regards
Larry

Hello There~
I finally got the Edge into my "hanger"~A little surprised with a few of the "short cuts" that were taken, but with that aside, not a bad kit~I'm in the process of capping ends and beveling surfaces, sanding as I go~Should be ready to start covering in about two weeks~the camera is down, but should get it back soon(pics. on the way)

Regards
Larry

I bought my plane from a fellow in texas, just outside of Dallas~I did see a 43 % "ARC Direct" for sale on RCU~There is quite a bit of building to be done with this kit, It's a loooong way from being a "ARC"~ I'll try to post some pics of mine soon~

Your not kidding. Somebody needs to get of the fence and do it right. Canada needs a major distributor of high end planes and equipment. These little overpriced hobby shops are for the birds. hey have you checked oout Great Hobbies. They do have alot of stuff and even some giant scale including H9, Aeroworks and Desert Aircraft. Other than that USA is where it is at. Damn I hate the customs and brokerage fees. I guess that is the price for living in the best place on earth.

NO KIDDING!.I just bought an edge 540 from Tower Hobbies for 267.00 when it got to my door it was 510.00! I could have bought a sweet plane for that.Great Hobbies wanted 469.00 for the same plane with gst and shipping it was even more than i paid. The only way to do it up here is to buy used but it doesnt seem like theres very much out there for sale
