Default Airframe for old 3W 60 (long)

I have an old 3W 60 long version that weighs about 5.2 pounds and I am looking that putting it to some use, for IMAC and 3D type flying. The problem is that todays airframes are designed around engines like the DA50. So I am carrying an extra pound in weight. But I still like to keep the wing loading light. An idea could be a Quique 85 or 86in Yak with a light spinner, foam wheel, Lipo`s and a Carbon wing tube. Can any one give me any ideas on any airframes I can use?

Hey,

I think Wild Hare's 91" Cap would serve you well for what you're after. I have a 3W75 that I'd like to find a home for and I was considering this plane. You actually have two options: an 85" wing or 91", the fuse is the same for either wing span. The 91" has more wing area at 1550 squares so I'd go that route to help keep the wing loading a little lower. The 85" is on sale for 399.00 and it would be suitable as well, just watch what you put in it so the AUW doesn't get out of hand.
