A buddy of mine asked me to post on here to help him out. He was given the left overs of a crashed 40% jtec 330 and wants to rebuild it. He has like new wings, stabs, cowl, and canopy. Only the fuse was destroyed by the previous owner. So he called Jtec but they told him he needs the turtle deck because they do not sell just a fuse kit. They have all the wood parts to go around it, but no turtle deck. I found that kind of strange, but what do I know. So anyways he needs at least a in tact turtle deck, or better yet a broken whole fuse. If anyone out there has the parts please let me know so I can contact him! Thanks...

There are several guys on FG that have access to foam cutting equipment. I am sure at least one will step up to the plate and offer to work with you to get one cut. My guess is that when J-Tech orders their kits in ARF form and the Pac Kits they order everything for the PAC kits in matched sets. If they sold a turtle deck then they would have a kit missing that part. The factory wherever they have the kits produced may be imposing this on them. Shawn |

Excellent point, Shawn, I'd be surprised if that wasn't something like that. You could also consider making a turtledeck with formers and sheeting. Wouldn't be that hard to do. Dave |

If I had anything, you would be welcome to it. When I crash, there is usually very little question whether anything salvageable.

Daryl, its easy enough to make a tuttledeck, Is 3 formers, 4 or 5 stringers and some 3/32 sheeting. I can provide you with the formers or the drawing for the formers so you can make them. Al
