Default TOC/SD 37.5% Yak Cowl Version 1 vs Version 2

Hi all,

I just found out a few weeks ago that the 37.5% cowl comes in 2 different versions. I was at the field checking out Tony Thomasians 37.5% Yak when I noticed right away that his cowling had more clearance than mine did and well it looked better also. I took a few pics so everyone else will now the difference and what to look for. The old style cowl is pretty much straight all way to nose of the cowl. The new version sort of mushrooms out to the nose allowing for more plug clearance. Here are some pics..

Ron - WOW! What a big difference!!! I didn't know that! The original looks like a 33-35% yak cowl compared to the 2nd version!

The new cowl came on all the 37% yaks after the first shipment. Does not make the plane fly different. Some of the wider engines had a problem with the plug caps coming out so they changed it.
