| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I am thinking about the Chip Hyde Extra 34% I was wondering who had them and what they thought of them. I have heard problems with the wings from the CHP Extra and the Planes Plus Extra, and even the CA Extra. Is there anyone that has had problems with the wings on the CHP Extra? How well do they fly? Whats your setups? Lets see some pictures!!!!!

| Pleez send cash!!!!!!! ![]() | I dont have one but i thought they got the wing problem sorted out. CA's had problems? they have foam wings and there from a diffrent company. They flew the PP extra at the YM in advanced and it flew real good. One had a DA and the other a 3W the DA didnt get to fly because the motor was having problems but the other one flew good, tracked real well but I think Andrew Jesky said it was a little bite of a handful when you slow it down.

| RC 'Aholic! ![]() | I've owned mine for 2 years and it's a great flying airplane. I have itsetup with a DA100, K&S Cans, Hitec digitals all around. I'll be using it in IMAC this year, Because of the cans its'a little nose heavy for 3D but it still does it with not too much effort. I've been thinking about trying it with standard mufflers just to see how much of a difference it makes. There is almost no pitch coupling needed. Knife edges and flat turns are smooth. The only problem I've had with mine is the canopy hatch can be a little tough to get off and off. but that's it. I've had no problems with the wing hold downs. If you get one just take your time in setting it up. Good luck Jim |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I thought that the CHP Extra was sheeted foam, is that true or is it ribbed? The ribs I guess were breaking on the PP Extra.
