I am just starting my build of an Exclusive Modellbau 50% Pitts S1. There has to be someone out there with this kit although I hav'nt come across any thread on this plane. I have seen challengers and some of the build is very similar. Anyone out there have one or can help?

hi, good choice! i have a pitts from exclusiv modellbau too ! you can see some pics on the evo web site (evo-engines.com) i have on each surface : 2 x Ds14021 digi per aileron 3 x 805bb for the rudder 2 x 3W 850 digi for the elevator the weight is 28 kg, in France over 25kg we need 2 receiver and 2 power box i think is possible (with lipo ...) to have 26 kg motor is an Evo 300 Competion, super realistic sound ! on PEFA canister for the kit i just modify the size of the aileron , because they are very small on the rel version. This is a lot of work but the plane fly very great ! |

Julien very nice where did you get the carbon for the motor box is it like fiberglassing with epoxy? What batteries are you using, I have the powerbox champion with 2x2800 for guidance and 1x 1500 on ignition but I dont think thats enough now.

hi i have 4x2400 nicd SANYO and 1x2000 nicd SANYO for the ignition. 2 power box 40/16 Evolution but i need in France over 25 kg 2 receiver and 2 power box ! i the past i have a Christen Eagle 1/2 EMWH too with a 3W 200cc . for this plane i have just one power box and 2x 2400 nicd SANYO and for the ignition 1x. approx weight 23kg. but the motor is very short tork @ 80% of throttel.... for the carbon , yes it's fiberglassing with epoxy (200g/m2) |
