Default JTEC Extra 330 Maiden

Just wanted to throw a big thanks out to a bunch of guys that really helped me out this past week when I was trying to get my Extra ready to maiden this weekend so it would be ready for the Nall. Huge thanks goes out to Ron Czikowsky, Jim Cyr (rollingharrier) and Dave Teer (flyingklown). These guys went out of their way to give me extra sets of hands to get this project done quickly and correctly. We burnt the midnight oil friday night and got the project finished so that i could put the maiden on it today. Even with 20+ mph winds today, i decided after all that hard work, I was still going to do the maiden so all that hard work wouldnt go to waste. Just wanted to make sure I said thanks publically to some stand up guys that really pulled through for me in a pinch. Flying buddies are bad ass!!!!!!

Setup:
JTEC/Radiowave Extra 330 40%
DA 150
KS Cans
Hitec 5955s all around
B&E Graphix
Emcotec mini-5 power distribution
Fromeco Batteries
Airwild Servo Arms
Radical RC custom extensions
Dubro Hardware

Another big thanks to Al and Kevin Young at JTEC/Radiowave, Dave Johnson at Desert Aircraft, Tom at TnT landing gear products, Eric at B&E Graphix, and last but definetly not least, HitecRCD!!!

looks great Tank....What did you do for rudder setup?

I have been thinking of taking my SWB 3X pull-pull tray out and going with 2-8711's in the tail push-pull.

Kevin, I noticed that on the newer 330's the rudder is not tapered on the bottom. Is there a reason why you went from the first gen 330 rudder to this one? Does this one give better effectiveness?

Thanks and once again Tank, she looks great!

Dave, i used two 5955s in a push-pull setup in the rear. I only did one flight today as it was windy as hell, so I didnt get to beat on it to see if it would fade. It seemed to have plenty of authority for the maneuvers I did do though.
