Default 1/3 scale Full Tilt Boogie

1/3 scale Full Tilt Boogie
Hello

I recently picked up an out of production Full Tilt Boogie deluxe kit. This was kitted by KT.Avaition. The Kit is 1/3 scale and is the same size as the Hostetler plans.

Can anyone tell me how well the plane flys and what the optimum motor is. I was told and 80cc would really do the plane justice.

This is a builders kit, The quality looks great. The 2 piece cowl, fuselage,3 piece wheel pants/spats, and wing tips are fiberglass. The kit has foam wing cores and a
clear canopy.Bulk heads for fuselage included but no balsa.

Hostetler plans and Shattleroe landing gear were bought as extras. If I build this kit
I will have the to build it with built up wings.(wood)

I probably won't get to this for a while since I am building 2 Pepino 1/4 scale Waco YMF-5's from plans and scatch building.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Zenoah GT 80. If you build it stock it falls perfectly in the biplane racing class. It's not an arobat and never was, but it's damned fast!

You're very lucky to have found it.
