The Edge with an 80-85cc single is a mighty good combo.

I like it with a ZDZ 80 at 22lbs
At a fly in earlier this year we did some vertical drag races, a few 40%ers with 157's and a 35% with a 106, The little ol' Edge was the king!

The Cap with a BME 110! I had the Edge with a ZDZ 80 and it was a good combo - 23.5lbs with smoke. I highly prefer the Cap over the Edge, though. It does rockin' 3D and flies precision very nicely as well. If you just want to hover, get the Edge. I briefly flew the Extra with a ZDZ 80 and it was a nice combo but I didn't get to ring it out. For any of them, I would highly recommend a light engine like a single 80 or preferably a BME 110/115. Heavy twins that put them over 25-26lbs really take the magic out of them. I flew a buddy's Edge with a 3W 100 with smoke and it was a total pig. My Cap used to have a 3W 85 twin (same weight as most 100's) and it flew nicely. I dropped 2lbs from it with the BME 110 and now it's unreal.

I had the extra That was stripped to be as light as possible running a single li-ion 1 reg., single servo per wing with a older 3w 75 and 26* 10 prop. You could fly inverted @ a slow walk hovered great pullout was ok ,it wasn't huge.Rolling harriers were insanely slow. Then I stuck a zdz super 80 in it added smoke and it still flew great with a ballistic pullout. I also had the cap with azdz80.This was one of the best all around flying planes I ever had.The Harriers were rock solid, you could wall and slide 50ft snaps were crisp and it was locked in a hover.,rollin harriers were a blast It was one of the few planes that you could wall it turn sidways and let it slide 10ft ,stall, then bump to a rollin harrier....I loved that plane! may she rest in peace.

There is a video from the Joe Nall of Mike M ringing out the new 35% 260 and man does that thing look sweet. I would go with that for sure, it also has a lot of the stuff done for you so it will be a faster build.
