ZDZ 80, BME 110, DA 85, etc.. I had one with a ZDZ 80 and the power to weight was awesome and the plane flew great. A buddy of mine has one with an older 3W 100 that weighs at least 2lb's more and it's a slug. It has a ton of power and will rocket out of a hover, but the extra 2+ lb's really kills the magic. My personal preference is the BME 110 (about the same weight as the 80 singles) and more power than the DA or 3W 100. I have one in H9 33% Cap and it is ridiculous power, without the extra weight. |

That would be great choice, any lightweight 80-85 single or a BME twin would do. If money was no object, I would do a BME 110 or 115. It would be good for any 35% plane that may be in your future also, not to mention that the Edge would be INSANE at about 22-23 lbs with a 115! Brian |

id suggest the zdz80 Super, keep it light and go for it! If your not in a hurry wait for the DA75, I know its on its way but there is such hype over it might be a while until you get it so officially its vapor-ware at the moment

I have one with a ZDZ-80.. RIPPER motor once you clip the muffs. It's pretty darn good power. Seen 'em with DA-100's, little over powered in my opinion - the DA-85 will be the perfect marriage. Fun plane!!
