I too really like it. Its a wee bit pricey though... SD's 260 is cheaper. I like this scheme though!!!

No way dude.

For the price it comes with EVERYTHING.
Pilot, hardware, (good hardware) and GREAT support.
Also, shipping is just $100.
So.. $999 + 100 = $1099.

SD = $899 + $189 shipping(tbm) = $1087

So the SD is $12 cheaper.

I saw this plane at the Nall and its very nice. It really almost looks like a Carden.
(the profile.. not the construction)

I think thi splane will be a winner!

I'm waiting for one. I have some gear from my Panzl waiting to go in it!!

On Horizon it says the plane will be selling late July. This will probably be my next plane because they will probably carry these at local hobby shops so you wont even have to pay for shipping.

Is the SD 260 as big as this plane? Are ALL control surfaces prehinged AND gap sealed? Does it come with a lightweight fiberglass pilot figure? How much is shipping? The answers are no, no, no, and definitely more than $100.
This is not a bash against SD-model, but proof that they cannot be compared to each other.

I am not sure that's true anymore. When I ordered mine from my LHS, they said that Horizon was waiving the shipping charge for a limited time. I believe that you will now have to pay shipping, but if you order it directly from Horizon, you avoid sales tax. Still, this is a lot of plane for the price. Mine will have the DA and Grieves tuned pipes. with all other equipment being minimal, I am hoping to be under 28 pounds.

Yeah, I think those are the pipes that they used on the DA 200 prototypes, which is just four 50cc cylinders. I talked to a guy at the field that works at DA and he told me they have them available. I'll know for sure when I get ready to place my order...
Finding any info on Manfred/Mansfield Grieves/Greeves/Greves pipes has proven to be nearly impossible, though. If I can't find those pipes, my next choice will probably be BMB. I know I can get KS 1060's all day long, but from what I have seen from them, they are the most peaky with a less than desireable mid-range.
