i was just wondering, is the newer wildhare extra 300 50cc, a good IMAC plane, or should i go with something different?

It's a great choice!! I had a newer version 300 up till about a couple months ago and sold it for the 41% Wild Hare.

I had one also. BME 50, Hitec servos, Fromeco Batts. Excellent plane for IMAC. Smooth and stable. Plus the support that WH gives is fantastic. Go for it.

It will be just fine, I am using one of the old 50cc extras. You will see many WH 50ccs in Basic class and some of the bigger ones in the upper classes.
