I don't usually make comments about other companies products being a manufacturer myself however I've got to say Rocko has really set an incredible standard with his QB ARFs. I picked up the AW 35% Yak back at the Toledo show and have just now got it flying. Yeah, my OMP stuff has kept me too busy. The quality of this ARF is impeccable and the hardware equally top notch. I only took about 4-5 evenings to assemble and get this bird ready to fly. The manual made things easy and every part went together without a problem.
Well this past weekend I got the big Yak out to the field and was amazed at how well it flew right out of the box. CG was exactly per the manual and this presented a perfect balance for IMAC style flying. Every manuever (snaps, points, tracking, etc.) was spot on and easy to master without special mixing or corrective thumb banging if you know what I mean. Kinda reminded me of my 67" Fusion profile

. We've flown it 3 other evenings this week and I can't wait to get the new DA100 broke in so I can really huck this thing. I'm planning on adding smoke after the engine breaks in and using this plane for freestyle.
Thanks again Rocko for a great product!
