Default My New Dalton 300

P7260007.JPG

Guys,
Tuesday morning of this week an 18 wheeler pulled up outside my office and dropped off a crate containing the fuse, wings, and stabs to my new "Russo Built" 300. Then today another toy box dropped off the the painted bits (long story...thanks again Tony)

All I can say is that Tony did not disappoint on this one. A full set of photos to follow this evening but I thought I would attach just one teaser...

Did you have him send you two cowls so that you can just hang that one above the fireplace?

Kevin showed me that picture up in Oshkosh. I was awe-struck. Looks much better with it in full resolution. Killer!

Hey Dave, I actually thought that too as I was fiddling with it over lunch...what a shame it will be to get bug guts and 1/2 burned Amsoil all over it!

That is one bad ass scheme on that cowl. The spinner on the blade is a very creative touch.

Now that I have told you that I like your cowl, I want to tell you how cruel I think you are for making us wait for the rest of the pictures.

I can't wait to see what the rest of the pics look like. If you have pics of the radio compartment please post them also. I love looking at Tony's work. He makes the inside of his planes look just as good on the inside as they do on the outside.
