Love the fact that it is pipe / cannister ready. Like the cowl baffling and carbon reinforced pushrods. Love the sweep on the CF gear. just waiting for the scheme

Rocco, thanks for the videos. In Sean's flight: I was especially impressed at how rock solid it is in the inverted harriers and the ridiculous torquing tail slide at around the 4min mark. In your flight Rocco: It looks nice in the rollers and harriers and I loved the waterfalls. Exit out of point rolls was tight! Great flying. What were you running it on? A 150 on cans? Seems like Greeves pipes or a 170 might be in order to get a little more out of such a large airframe. I guess that is my preference. I think I'd go 150 on greeves. I haven't been a fan of the stock scheme but have to say it presents extremely well in the air which is really important. Mark, it's growing on me ![]() Now you guys just have to come out with a Cap 232 (not 580)... pretty please. If I preorder a 35% non-existent Aeroworks Cap 232 would that help get the ball rolling? I'm patient if I know things will one day come...

Hey Guys you might want to keep in mind those videos were shot in Denver. Also in August where the DA can get to 10000+ feet. That means if they have decent power in the video, at sea level they are like homesick rockets. DA150 on Greeves will give you plenty of punch. DA170 on Greeves would be even sweeter!! Awesome thing about this bird is the pipe tunnel is build for Greeves out of the box. You don't even have to cut the cowl. Just open up the covering holes needed and drop the pipes in. I saw this aircraft at the AMA show. Really nice and big! |

I have flown this bird, and it is fantastic. For those interested, there is a very nice build thread here: http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/showthread.php?t=245091 |

Put two flights on mine Sunday, Great airplane. Took no trim, flies like it's on rails. I couldn't ask for anything else. Don't know the final weight yet, but the DA 150 on stock pipes carries it for a ride. I'm not much on IMAC but this seems like it would be a great plane for it.
