Just a comment on how neutral the airplane is. First off it IS. However it needs to be balanced correctly. A tail heavy set-up will induce coupling as it will in any design. Balance it at 3-1/2" to 3-3/4" behind the LE at the tip. I believe that translates to 3/8" to 1/8" in front of the wing tube.

It always intrests me to see comparisons of one airplane to another, but if they arent both set-up properly the comparison just is not valid. I can change my Carden 260 from the BEST flying airplane most guys have ever flown to the WORST with a few simple tweaks to the set-up in 2 minutes. Same with any given design .

Hi Mike, I have the 27% H9 260, been flying it all summer, flys very well, do you know of anyone making a carbon wing tube for it ? And is the new 35% just an upscaled version? Thanks Artie

I have the 35% and from looking at them the 27% is more like a Dalton/TBM 260. The 35% is more like a Carden 260.

Dont know of CF tube for the 27% but likely someone does have one. FWIW, on a tube that size the weight saving would be very little.

On the 35%, I tweaked it out more. Its not a scaled up 27%. Many differences such as tail moment, thrust line, wing placement, wing planform, stab planform and airfoil to name a few biggies.

Again ...Apples and Oranges my friend.
I have a GEN II QQ YAK and it is BadAss...for an ARF. Tracks awesome..very little coupling need, does get a lil pissy from time to time.....I had a 50cc AW 260, flew great for @ 2 min. My Bro JD(BigBird) has had 2 42% AW 260's and they rocked. And then there's Bob's custom built 28lb. CA 260....EUPHORIA.....Dont have a clue @ the H9 260.
