Well, I just got the new arf. Don't really know why, I really like the scheme on it. I am not sure if I am going glow or gas at this time. Just thought I would get the thread started on it.

Anymore information on this plane. Anything less than 45cc on this plane would be aggrevating--relative to pilot perspective .

The ARF looks really nice. I have not done much with it yet. I have an OS200 for a light, simple build and a DA50R for a monster build. Not sure which way to go right now. I have never owned a gasser. I also have an AW Extra260 with a DA85 so I will be into gas soon enough. IZ have been reading a lot of threads about the GP Yak as they sem very similar. I have posted pics on RCU. I have not figured out how to get my pics hosted so I can post on this sight.

Well, I decided to go with a DA-50r and 8711 all around. Now the manual calls for 2" servo arms. My hobby shop says that's crazy?? Anyone know about this? Do the GP Yak or Cap call for 2" servo arms? Is that what people use?

Check out the Futaba S5050's. They are Digital, High Torque. At 6V it will put out 264 oz. of torque. 8711's are nice as well, but these would do the trick as well.

I had the GP Yak. I used 1.5" JR double lock aluminum servo arms.

I just got mine in the mail today. I am going to do a thread and review also so we should do some comparing one set up to the other. i am going to use 5645's x2 on the rudder and 645's every where else. I am also using a fox 3.2 with a pitts style exhaust. I have had the cap and the yak before this one so I hold a good knowledge on what I might expect. I will say that the yak has a two piece wing that makes it really nice. and i have ran both with a 2.4 gas and it flew it fine just no 3ding abilities. i will post back more later got to go thanks guys
