...Hii Flyers.. ![]() Has anyone of You tested the Jamara Pitts S12 Monster small version (1750 mm span)..??? I have one at home and would like to hear about it... ..and it's also interesting to hear about the plastic landning gear if it's ok or if I have to replace it whith a comparable alu-gear.

..I don't know if anybody has them over there because I for my self live in Europe, Sweden. Maybe they are sold under a different brand. You could check whith Jamara in Germany if they are sold in the US.

Hi Harry S, i have the bigger one with a ZDZ 80RVJ in it. Flies great. Only thing with the bigger one (might be the same on the small one) Is the horizontal stabilizer is not the strongest. I got given the plane as it had crashed due to this breaking during flight. I now have a 2.5cm X 3mm Carbon blade the whole length. As for flying no real problems needs a lot to hold it in a right knife edge, but thats normal for a pitts. Mine still has the original U/carriage legs again no problems with these but i would reinforce the mountings. Photos are during the rebuild (4 out of the 5 wing panels were destroyed) and after the first flight at our local runway. Enjoy Andy ![]() ![]()

...Hi There.. ![]() I'm glad You liked the Pitts Andy, sad about the crasch though I'm have braised the stabilizer whith those metal wires that was included in the kit and I hope those help to make it stronger. If not I'll change them for a couple of carbon tubes. The powerplant in mine will be a ZDZ 50 NG whith appropriate prop to it, I'm thinking about a 22x8". The colour scheme is the livery #2. Unfortunately I haven't had time to finish it but I hope it'll fly in the summer (at least I hope it will). Nice repair job You made, looks great

Its on the leading edge of the bottom wing on the big one. Would have thought it would be the same on the small one. Just take a vertical line from the leading edge of the bottom wing to the top. ![]() ![]() ![]()
