Thanks guys, I'll keep plugging away at it, see what I can get done this week.

Vic3D, the blue is Monokote Sapphire Blue. It looks darker in the store or inside but looks good out in the sun.

Thanks! Looks really good and I'm definitely implementing it into my next covering job.

Got the rudder done last night.

The whole thing is still need the red stripes from the VH-YLF scheme. Thene the fuse will be dun.

I had a clear plan for the fuse but I have no idea what I want on top of the wings & elevators. Figuring that out will probably get things moving along.

Maybe we could cook up some suggestions for the wings. Are you trying to keep the wing's coverin scale-like, or maybe a little more creative?

Just an idea. This would show up great in the sky.

Ok here are some of my ideas:
  • I'm not going to oversell my covering skills. I want to keep it pretty simple so its easy to do.
  • Nothing with too many fine stripes, they just disappear in the sky anyway.
  • Keep the blue to a minimum. Its pretty dark and overpowering.

Here are some ideas I'm kicking around:

I'm digging it. Its original as far as I can tell. Elements of other things but nothing quite like it:

I agree that is the best of the bunch. But don't forget the bottom.

Yea its a winner, done deal.

Something simple and quick on the bottom. I like Patty's new scheme where 1/2 the airplane is one color. I'm thinking of doing something on just 1 wing.
