A little late to post this thread up, but I know you guys will love to hear About a month ago, i bought one of the PAU 30% edge 540 because i was being told it would really float my boat, and let me tell, i wish i had gotten it much sooner in my flying career. This plane is absolutely amazing there is no other word for it. The quality of the plane is amazing. If you were to see the construction of this plane you would be completely amazed of how light it is built, but yet how strong it can be. This plane can stand up to ANYTHING you throw at it. Parachutes comnig down fromm 200ft, full throttle blenders coming down from 200ft, and don't even ask how easy it is to hover. You could sit there all day and TR on the deck. I would definetly recommend this plane for anybody who wants to learn how to hover. Harriers were as solid as you can think. inverted harriers were the same. This plane being an edge was also very easy to fly. perfect plane for sport flyers who like just doing normal aerobatics. It can be as tame as you want, but flip to high rates and this plane will blow your mind. OK, enough of the talk, time for pics ![]() . Thanks for your time, Harv www.performancercaircraft.com (check out the other amazing aircraft such as the extra the yak and the ultimate)

Hey Harv, I absolutely agree that the PAU Edge is an impressive machine. I'm just amazed at how lightweight it is, while keeping plenty of wing area. Mine is set up for 3D flying, with a bit of an aft CG, and it is a joy to fly. I know, Flyfalcons with a plane not set up for IMAC?!?! Unfortunately I had a problem with my Brison engine and I am trying to work out the bugs, but the flight time I have on my Edge has shown a lot of promise. I have to admit I'm a little chicken for 200' parachutes though!

The Edge has an 84" wingspan, and mine is equipped with a Brison 3.2, 8411s, and Fromeco batteries. I don't have a scale to weigh the plane accurately but the Brison flies it well. If I can't get my Brison operating correctly I will probably replace it with a DA.

I've got one too & love how it flies. I'm not sure if the rainbow scheme works for you - I pulled it & switched to blue. Here's some pictures from my build thread: BME 30% Edge 540 build Also some neat variations on: BME 30% Edge 540 build |
