I bought it as a short kit a few years ago. I never did build it. I think I paid $80-$90 for the kit. I never did build it, if you are interested give me a shout. Sorry, it wasn't the Big Boy, it was the Spoiler, a further refinement of the Big Boy.

The Spoiler will be/is for sale as an ARF from East RC. I don't know when you can buy it, but here it is on the web: http://www.eastrc.org/shop.cgi/page=...98543852.22355

I checked the Morris Hobbies website and it is only listed as a kit. I built one of these a while back and it was a fun plane to fly. Not enough side area on the fuse for a strong knife edge.

The picture of the "Spoiler" looks alot like my "Big Boy". The tail looks shorter and the fuse may be a little larger. I don't remember the weight but this was a very light plane for the wing area. It was the plane I took out the first time I flew for the year to get the old thumbs loosened up. |

I like my Big-Boy A R F ,,, ,,, ,,, I think $220, 3 years ago from Morris Hobbies. I put a Saito 150GK on it. She flies fine at 1/4 throttle. They used a MVVS-77 on the prototype.
