The hinges on my QB 50cc Aeroworks Yak 54 held up great last year. Lots of IMAC flying, probably 30 gallons worth over the summer. I have each control surface a good tug every once in a while, and never saw any motion

I have almost 300 flights on my 260 QB. 3W 106 hauling it around and last time I flew I pulled on every single surface (hard) and none of them seem even close to loose. They did a great job if you ask me. Still haven't heard any reports of loose hinges.

That is good to hear. It seems like there is always something that is a little bit wrong with arfs, and if that was a little bit wrong that would not be good. I have always just wondered how the hinges were holding up.

My QB 260 hinges didn't come out.......even after I crashed it on approach and destroyed the plane. Hinges still intact My 35% WH Su-26 hinges are fine also, but this is a whole differnet kind of hinge.

I saw that PAU was coming out with prehinged surfaces. Sounds like they are holding up well from other companies though. To me it is just a little scary having somebody else do it. Might get a Monday plane and have some trouble. I am sure they use plenty of glue in them.
