Default Ef 88"yak Powerbox?

Hiya guys. Was wondering if many of you are using a powerbox in your 88". Ive been running five-8711s in mine for the past year with no powerbox and no issues. Ill be setting up the new 110" EF Yak Very-soon and its got me wondering how many folks have chosen to use a powerbox in their 88?

Hi,

I have a 86" QQ Yak and run 4x5985MG and 1 5955TG directly to a Futaba R-149DP with no issues, i think in a 50cc airplane Powerboxes are oversized.

In my upcoming DA85, 36% Ultimate, i will not use a powerbox either, i will use two Futaba recievers and a powerbox gemini. The reason is mostly the weight in general and about the weight behind the CG because of the DA85.

Here is a 3D CAD drawing how i setup the powersystem:

Thats interesting. Youve chosen not to use a powerbox on your 110". What engine will you be using and what made your mind up about not using a Powerbox. Im still undecided Help

Brillelli 120 or DA100 for motor

The 9100 is close to the powerbox except it doesn't have as many servo inputs. Im sure their may be something else but I cant think of them now. The 9100 has a failsafe switch, 2 HD 16g leads and can handle 35 continuous amps and 50 peak amps. Just my choice--a power box will work just as well.
