Default 3.0 CA Yak and RCS 250 Radial

I know its a little heavy but I fly mostly IMAC. Any thoughts? If I put the servos in the tail and everything else toward the back it should balance.

I'm thinking maybe a nice 3W157 should do the trick for alot less.

It dont matter how you fly it. As long as you can take off, do circuits, and land, you'll kill everytime its in the air. I hope you dont get it. It brings a tear to my eye knowing that there's one more person that can listen to that sweet sound of a radial whenever they want. Please post video and a build if you do.

The 3.3 Yak would be a better choice. It will carry the weight better.

I know of a guy with the 150 radial in a Comp ARF 2.6 Yak and he's very pleased with it.

Here you'll find some pics from a 3W Yak 3.05m with a Moki S250 Radial. Click!

Got a vid of a CompARF with a 250 Radial looks nice too, but i don't find the link yet....

And don't forget to replace a DA150 with a 250 Radial don't make so much more weight because you don't need some cans or muffler, when you don't do much 3D it will be fine.

DO IT!! I love radials, they bring such a realistic sweet sound to the air. If your looking at just flying pattern with it I think the power should be fine, maybe even some 3D stuff.

have fun
