Plannig on putting together a 40% + plane and was wondering what the guys who fly these planes think. What is a real HIGH QUALITY arf for the DA 150. I have a aeroworks 31%edge 540 and a 33% sd model yak 54. i want something Huge though and not a headache. Hardware is important to. The last 2 planes a good deal of the hardware was not used. Dietrich planes. Also what exactly is a good size plane for this engine to have unlimited vertical. To the moon baby!

For ''to the moon'' performance, you need tuned pipes. Good high quality ARF? Comp-ARF 260 3m, Wildhare 41% 300, Aeroworks 260.

Now this is nice. A bunch of planes to add to a list and slowly eliminate till I arrive at the "victor". Tuned pipes are fine... Noise is not an issue at my feild.

Comp-Arf 3m 260 is a very nice straight flier. But for me i started to lean towards yaks and my 46% ultimate with a DA-150, its on on mufflers but when tuned right and built light the hovers r only half throttle and vertical isn't a problem |
