Default what flying differences between a 260 and 300?

Hey guys , as far as that question goes , what's the difference between those two style aircraft and also the extra 330.

I know the 260 is really popular right now , but honestly , is there a big difference between the way it flies compared to the 300 and 330??

With the way model manufacturers take liberties with design these days, there is probably a bigger difference between brands than there is between 260, 300, 330, these days.

I 100% agree with 1bw. A built-to-scale 330 (or actually 300L) is a low wing aircraft and the 260 and 300 are mid-wing aircraft. Typically, mid-winged aircraft fly more neutral. The only real reason The Extra went from a mid wing to a low wing was for pilot visibility, and it was easier to build a lighter, stronger wing.
With the way designers tweak R/C planes, a 300L can be made to fly better than a 260 or 300...
So the question you need to be asking is who makes a well-designed radio control version of the 300L or 260/300. The size of aircraft you are looking for will also be important.

I can speak for carden extras and the biggest difference bettwen the 260 and 300 is in the way the perform on the rollers. The 300 is a lot easier to do rollers with and looks better IMO.

Since the 260 looks so much better than the 300 I assumed it was the large two place canopy that gave it better side area for knife edge flight that had the 300 so popular for so long ?

260 = hot rod One man and his machine

300 = family sedan A man and his old lady ?

This man needs help

He is out of his mind.

260 ugly with a capital "UG"

300 way cool.

Both fly the same to me, but Albert is probably right.
