Default SD 40% yak CG

I'm posting for Smokey, his computer is sick.

We balanced his 40% SD models Yak. The CG is about 1 1/2 to 1 1/4" behind the wing tube, is this OK?

The plane will fly tailheavy there, but it is very forgiving and does not get tricky to fly. My first one balanced there too. It will climb inverted and land with the tail hanging down, but is good for 3D. It flies better if you can get the cg furhter forward

I found this on Chief Aircraft Inc. I guess its the same plane since the name has changed so many times. Hope this helps.

My computer is back from the dead. Thanks Mach1Latus for posting for me. I just want to clarify one thing. The C.g. is 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" back from the CENTER of the wing tube. Is that what you were talking about cbk07?

Thanks
Smokey
