Here are some pix of two Extras Ibuilt for Klein Tools. These are static only, but started life as Comp-ARF kits. I chopped the tails down to make the rudder and elev. correct size. The seats are leather, inside has scale tube structure.. lots of fun detail. They were paited in base/clear over all the graphics and hand polished. They were a lot of fun to build, but never again!
The photo with the guys holding them is of Rick Klein, on the right and Mike Mancuso on the left. Mike has 54NL and Ricks was a sister ship 55NL. There as some subtle differances between the two...

Jason, thanks man. Yeah, not cheap, but looking at them close, the Comp-ARFs are the closest to scale outline. Tho other thing I did was to lower the wing in the fuse about 1 1/2 inches and raise the tail up in the fuse a bit as well. THis made them look very scale. I bet they would fly like $hi^ though!!
I attached a few more to look at as well. Thats me doing my Mike Mancuso imitationin the third pix. My have had on too many that night....
Rick had his copany make up two really nice display stands to show off the models in the company headquarters.

And for those who care, this is how I mounted the prop. This type of engine is very cheap!
