HI @ALL, i want to introduce my new competition plane, the Delro XXL Raven with 3.1 meters wingspan. The KIT is a Delro (www.delro.de) available over Desert Aircraft. you can order this as a kit with balsa/styro wings and a composite/airex fuselage or completly finsihed. in my version everything was finished, the whole paint job was already done, i had only to mount the servos and rx ! the plane flys absolutly exact in pattern (look at Bernd Beschorners results at the TAS (Tucson Aerobatic Shootout)) . 3D is also awesome, like a schocky, nothing negative, blenders, elevators, somenzi rolls, walls, harrier, its going absolutly perfect. harrier landings are no problem, Fuselage and gear are strong enough to hold it ! well, im really impressed of this airplane, it was a very good decision to buy it. by the way, its powered with the 150 DA on the new MTW pipes with a Delro CFK 3blade 28x12,5 running on 6000 RPMS (not even break in the engine- so there will come some more RPMs) by the way, some pics. -more on http://www.3daerobatic.com under XXL Raven regards, Chris Last edited by cyco; 12-29-2008 at 02:44 AM. If the Dollar to Euro conversion wasn't so bad, I would have either a Delro or Weimo Raven. They are sweeeeeet! Nice bird!

Hey Cyco, Nice to see you here too, maybe you know me from RCN. ![]() Awesome airplane! Are the elevators in the original size or did you do any modification for better 3D performance? Also nice design on it, something not so usuall as the red/black standart one. ![]() You should look at the tempeatur of the R6014 i had some issues this weekend in my little QQ Yak! But i don't know how hot the pipes are i think a little bit cooler than mufflers, right? Regards/Gruss, Niklas

elvevator dont need to be modified ! -it works perfect in 3D. (you get almost 80 deg throw...thats heavy) no problems with the recievers,- in all planes ! -you must be doing something wrong... if you have the correct air circulation in the fuselage- youll never get any problems... regards,Chris |

Wow, 80 degrees of thrust, thats damn nice! What smokepump are you using in the raven? Do you have some more pics when you smoke, would be nice because i will use the new MTW pipe also in my Ultimate. regards, niklas

The original wing on Wayne's original Raven was not a Zivko wing, he later changed it to a Zivko when it had to be replaced with a straight leading edge with the same airfoil as the Edge I believe. FYI.
