Default BME 37% Ultimate...???

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with BME's Ultimate? They are on sale for 649.00 and I'm liking the idea of having an Ultimate just for the sake of having something a little different. The Aeroworks Ultimate is going for the same price so does anyone know how they compare? I'll be using a 3W 106 if I end up buying one.

Thanks in advance,
George

There are a couple of threads on it at RCU, all extremely favorable. Mine arrives today.

Hey thanks for the reply. I was wondering what kind of covering does it have? Can you tell if its Ultracote or chinacote. I came across a thread on Rcu but it wasn't a build thread, just more of a flight report. You are right though, everyone seemed to be happy with them. I'm still stuck on which one to get. It looks like the Aeroworks Ultimate has been discontinued. The World Models (same as the AW) is still available and all 3 are the same price. I believe the WM and AW come covered in Ultracote which is what I prefer.

I am not an expert on different cover materials, one thread said the blue and red are monocote, the silver something else. There is not one wrinkle in the thing, I spent hours redoing my GP Eagle.

I have not seen a build thread either, the manual is only available on line. It leavs a lot to the individual, but has good pictures of most of the proceedure.
