Default I can finally start EDGE 1 & 2

I had a deal with the wife, if I sold all my other crap I could start bulding my 50 & 100 cc extreme composite BVM edges. Today was the day. Hurricanes missed us and all that newly created garage space has lead to the start of the 2x2.

I have completed seval steps of construction and things are going smoothly. I think at the end of the day this is the most expensive 50 sized plane I have ever built. I will post as I go, instruictions suck and nothing fits out of the box witout slight mods. With the exception of on file incident I have not marred the surfaces except for a small dimple on one elevator.

Plane
BVM Edge 2x2 composite in irange fantasy scheme
Engine, 3WIUS competition 55 with pitts muffler and smoke
Power, extreme racing A123 batteries
Servos, 4 8611's (They don't Fit) I need 8411's
1 8711 rudder
1 8311 throttle
1 Futaba Mini on choke
Extensions custom Airwild
Battery Fromeco Lion on Engine
Spinner 4" TruTurn
Prop 22X10 Bolly break in
24x10 Mezjenik after break in
Sullivan Tank
Hanger 9 Hardware
Supplied control arms with airwild 3" offset on rudder

Today was un eventful and have control arms installed via BVM aeropoxy, I will continue tommorow upon glue drying. A significant amount of material had to be removed from hole for arm install but with a bit of patients goes very smoothly. The elevator and aileron control arns wer shortened approximately 1/4" and and install was measured at the hinge point to match all controll surfaces.

At first glance I though the build on this pland and it's brother were going to be a bear, so far I think the only future impending pita is going to be the canopy. I can't wait to start the 100 cc after getting this one up.
