Default My new MA 37.5% Yak first flight today!

I made 4 flights today on my brand new Aviation Models 37.5% Yak. All four were uneventful and I have to say that this plane flies great. Another winner in my stable of Yaks!

Thanks Jim and Daniel,
Daniel. I hope you get another Yak in the air soon. BTW, what is a crystal?
It really sucks that you lost your plane, I know you will get one back in the air soon.

Jim, Thanks for getting this airplane about 97.5% ready to fly! Everything worked great and the airplane flew perfect. I just need a little tweaking on the ole radio and it will be perfect.

Ya, the crystal apparently feel out in flight. It was the only thing not found in the aftermath.Funny thing is that I preach pretty loudly about the need to tape and secure all leads and crystals.Just not this time.LOL.I will know more after the radio and reciever are sent in to Futaba this week.I think that might be a good idea just to get the all clear from them.Even though everything besides the servos and regulators was brand new including the reciever.
Great looking plane once again.I guess it does not have the incidence problem that it was thought to have?

Anyway take care, Daniel

I understand how you feel. I lost a turbine airplane last year and I will never know why it went down. It just went into fail safe and that was it.

Later,
Jim

Good job Jim! That looks like a mean IMAC weapon! I am trying to get my plane together for a test flight on Wednesday.
