Default J-tec 2.7 meter Extra 300

I have seen these on the J-tec web site, was just wondering is there anyone out there flying one of these? If so is there any video, or pics, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have been flying one for a few months now. It is definately one of the best 35% planes I have flown to date. I like it so much I had to buy a Panzl PAK kit. I just finished the Panzl so I can compare the two.

Solid airplane! I am dialing one in now for next years IMAC season. So far I am very happy. I also like the fact that if I need something, Al is only a few minutes away and has been very helpful. You're not too far from me, drive up tomorrow and take a look up close and personal. We will be flying in Newton.

I flew the 3.2 all during the 08 season as my primary IMAC airplane, but logged a bunch of flights on other's 2.7m Extras as well, and they are fantastic. I plan on setting up one next season for freestyle and flying the 3.2 for IMAC. I have a couple hundred flights on my 2.7 Panzl and love it, think the 2.7 Extra is even better.

I have a New 40% 125" Extra 330L ARF from J-tec/RadioWave that I am wanting to sell but am not sure how to ship it. I am told Jtec does not sell it any more, but im not sure. It is the red, white, blue and yellow scheme.

I also fly the 2.7m, its the best 100cc airframe Ive flown to date. The total wieght is a hair under 27lbs, dl100, 9 servos, 2 a123. Im thinking of buying another.

Johnny,

How is that DL100 working out for you? How's the combination with the engine? We fly DA but the price difference of the DL you can almost buy all the servos you need. I am really considering the posibility of handling the DL 100 also for our customers

Al

Site says a styrofoam sheeted wing, will this allow to use only one servo per wing?
24 lbs would be tough to achieve with a DA-85 I bet.

Ours with the DA-85 and a mtw 110k weighs roughly 24.5 or 25 lbs and it is a very nice combo. Also we do have carbon fiber gear available for all the extra's and that knocks off 8 oz on the 2.5 and 2.7m. As for the wings you can use one servo if you would like, the reason we reccomend using two is because it helps spread the load and keep the aileron from flexing. You would be fine with one Hitec 5955, JR 8611 or 8711, or Futaba 9156 or 9157.

The DL is awesome, it hauls this 27lb plane with authority. You need to offer them as a package deal.
