Default The Raven ///What to do

Well I just received my two Raven Prototypes and man they are pretty. We designed this plane with the DA-85 in mind and a greeves pipe. Would be ballistic with a DA-100 on stock mufflers at 22lbs and alot of 3-d fun...
I was getting away from the ARF scene due to other reasons but man these are nice. Almost makes me want to keep them for myself. Should I build em or sell em is now the question????

So you thinking of getting out of the ARF business ? Maybe I should get a couple spare Yak parts now ? I knocked my Canopy/hatch off the table and cracked it a little. Seems fine after repair and I guess I could build a balsa hatch and cut the canopy from the one I have should the crack persists. What I can say, sometimes I'm hard on a plane.

I think you should sell at least 1. When can I come over and pick it up?

I would like to know too. Will spare parts for my Yak still be available. Are you going out of business completely. You designed a great plane. I hope others get to find out before it is too late.

Default Re: The Raven ///What to do

Still have arfs and just received the 71" yak 55sp shipment today...I have the two Raven prototypes and still 50cc yak 55's. I can get parts for the TOC 53 but times have gotten slim so I don't keep a full stock like before due to costs.
I have been bitten with losses from a few transactions and made some mistakes that added to the situation. I am not looking to totally get out but I am thinking of slowing down the arf stuff till I can get a better handle on things and get back to my full time work to pay bills.
So we will see what happens. This plane though is quite nice looking and is built well.

Smile Re: The Raven ///What to do

Beautiful, I always loved the Raven. I also have a Yak55 from you and it is a very well built plane !! I also would consider this plane from you after getting and assembling one of your Arfs. Are you building both to test or you going to sell one??? Thanks, Brian

Well one is spoken for, the other is going over to my friends house to be looked at. I will know after this weekend if it is spoken for. All I can say is it is a nice looking plane and complete like my other arfs.

Well Tank something tells me he does not want to have to box it back up and ship it. It can be a race to his place to pick it up. BTW you can never have enough Raven looking airplanes.
