I would suggest a deposit program in this type of market first. So you don't get stuck with a bunch of planes.

For $500 bucks I'd probably get one (still up to parents though).

The 230 is truly a very nice plane. A long time ago I had a Godfrey 230 and it was great for the time. With the advent of 3d it became obsolete due to scale sized flight surfaces so it was retired. Doing one in composite with larger flight surfaces would be a nice model to see at the fields.

I'm with T.O.M. I had a 230 in 33% and would still have it I reckon if the gravity God had not demanded sacrifice. It had a fiberglass fuse and weighed 24lbs with stock G-62.

This plane looks more like a 260 to me but what do I really know ? I like it ! 260's are my fav-o-rite and have been since I got into this a while back. Note screen name.

And $500 for a 94 inch composit plane is SUPER. Get it here before I buy my 33% 260 and ya got a customer. After, well, I'm building back UP not down. Until I get back to at least 33% I am on the hunt.
