I had the Richmodels 50cc Yak 54 and it was an awsome place.
Light and strong, with great quality.
The only thing I would do ( that I learned from the first one ) is change the main landing gear from day one.
Other then that it was spot on.
If I had the extra $$, I would be getting this deal.

What did you swap out the stock lg for on the 50cc?

I'm seriously shopping for a new 50cc airframe right now. I have a qq yak 86 that I really dont want to fly. I want to hang on to it since they are no longer available, and was planning on gutting the qq and putting everything else in a different airframe. I would honestly love to get a bipe, but have yet to find one I like for the price. The price on this yak is really hard to pass up.

It is a two piece fiberglass landing gear. It will delaminate in a few flight. This is one easy plane to land and even the best landings the gear will crack. I caught a ground hog hole on taxi and ripped the right gear right off the plane. I put a one piece aluminum gear from TNT on. I cut the can tunnel and blocked over it for the one piece gear. I was using stock exhaust anyway.
This is a great deal for such a nice plane, probally at the door for about $400.00 flat.
