Default looking for ultimate

I'm looking for my next project and thinking about an Ultimate biplane in the 50 - 100 cc size. never had an ultimate before, I asembled a qq python and a sd models python, so I'm looking for similar high quality plane. any suggestions? do ultimates have flying wires? like to have one with no wires. thanks

In the 50cc size you have Wild Hare, Great Planes, and World Models. There may be one or two more I failed to note. In the 100cc size PAU has the hot ticket, with World Models following up in the rear. Most Ultimates currently on the market do not have flying wires.

I'm finishing up an Aeroworks 50cc Ultimate. Very nice so far, typical aeroworks quality, just waiting for a break in this rain to maiden it.

Aeroworks has the new 20-300 in a 50cc. The PAU 100cc flies very well. I had the honor of flying a clubmates for the maiden and several times after. I like it. It does have flying wires, though.

I have the Great Planes with a DA 50. It weighs 14lb. I would say it is the easiest to assemble, no wires and the screws for the struts stay in the struts so you never have to look for any pieces. It floats around and is good for hover and torue rollin. Bucks alot in the knife edge. Great plane for a windy day.

In the 50cc size I've flown the Great Planes Ultimate with a DA-50 and it was an awesome machine. I don't *think* it had flying wires but I'm not positive - only got a couple flights on it. Great for precision and 3D. In the 100cc size I have a couple flights on the PAU Ultimate, and that was a great flying bird as well. Prices on both the GP and PAU Ultimates are actually very good compared with other aerobats in their size range.
