Default 38% Great Planes Extra

Does anyone know what the weight of one of these is? I'm looking at putting one
together as a 3D beater plane.

I've heard of them as low as 36 lbs., but you could put a BME 150 in it and get it down to around 34 lbs.

One of my flying buddy's had one, came in at about 37 lbs with just the basic gear in it with a 140,flew real nice till he had a dead stick after take off and back to kit form in an instant.Try not to have any mild mishaps as this plane cannot handle any rough landings at all, very fragile.I was gonna get one myself as a kick around plane but not after what I seen.Sorry bud, just giving you a heads up,cheap price though comes with everything in the box.

The wood is a little sparse in the fuselage.

I have had a couple of dead stick landing with mine. One had about an 8ft bounce and all is well.

I don't know the weight though!! I have the stock ball link ends stripping out on the ailerons. So it is grounded till I get the ball ends replaced.
