Finally, someone is focusing on something other than a Yak-54. I hope this is the beginning of more variety of models, other than Yaks, 300's and 260's.

GP has had a 580 out for a while.....it was the "splat scheme" Another big manufacturer also had a 1/3 scale Cap a while back and then did a re-release of it..... Other companies are doing 35%-40% Edges too.... Variety is cool.... Keep em coming GP!!!! |

Is this a new model or a recovered version of the old cap? NVM - I found my answer "We started with our original 1/3 scale CAP 580, and made it better in almost every way. We pre-hinged the elevator and ailerons to cut assembly time. We cut every possible ounce from the airframe weight, to bring the most demanding 3D maneuvers within easy reach. And we made it a great value by loading it with extras, including an aluminum spinner, fiberglass pilot and our own custom-designed giant-scale hardware." Looks good! |

I have the older version. Now that i have seen this one. I am tempted to buy this one as a backup for my old one just in case. It would be sick if this one flew even better than the old one! Cool Plane! Thanks for posting it!
