Default Unique 50CC plane

I have been lurking here for a few months, but haven't posted anything.

I am looking for a 50CC ARF that is somewhat unique. While I appreciate all the 3d models out there, I want something different. I have seen the RCguys.com Ag Wagon, Cessna, and Decathlon, but was hoping you all could point me to a few more not so common 50CC ARFs.

I know a kit or scratch building would give me the chance to have unique, but I do not have the time to dedicate to (1st newborn baby is here)

Well, the reality is that if you don't build something yourself or have someone build it for you, you're stuck with what the ARF suppliers put out.

And you are not likely to find something unique since the market potential for that plane would be one - you. And even then you might not like it. So where does that leave the supplier who then has a stack of them? Sell them off below cost just to get rid of them? Not likely.

If you don't even have the time to build your dream plane, it's not likely that some manufacturer who needs to make a large production run to stay in business is about to make some low demand item. He doesn't have the time to develop and produce it either. Nor does he have the required funding.

That new kid might take time, no doubt. But I'd bet that you sit around watching TV, generally goofing off and doing lots of other things that conume plenty of free time. And that's where you get the time to build. Why not cut out those time wasters and put it into your build? Ultimately, you'll have your unique plane. Or would you prefer to make excuses and keep dreaming?

^^ That wasn't very nice.

Liquidity, what sort of plane are you looking for? Scale, sport, bipe, warbird, something special or anything as long as it's a bit different?

Wow you have really helped to open my eyes and see reality. While I am sure you did not mean to come off as a jerk, you did a phenomenal job. If i want an earful of meaningless junk, I will post this on RCG. I came here looking for help.

My intentions are to find 50cc planes that are not the typical 3d plane (Edges, Yaks, Extra, etc...) I am not looking for my dream plane. It is a large toy for sake.

MadMonkey - Thanks for your response. I am looking for anything other than the typical 3d plane. The Ag Wagon, Decathlon and Cessna from RCGuys.com are nice. To me those are unique. You do not see a lot of them at the local field.

That was kinda HARSH.. Some of us would prefer to fly than BUILd and when we get older and more time.. We build then..

SAVVY. But then again.. Well.. I will be nice..

Gezz.. the guy was just wanting AVice.. Great advise. that was..

Liq I like the Agwagon.. But you should NO me by now.. the aeroworks I had it more SCAle and not 3D. You should get that from BILL. It flys Gentle long as you don't give it too much Elev..

I just did not like it cause of the 3D habits..

It's almost like the real 300lp and easy to FLy..

The only guy I know who's built the RCGuys AgWagon posts on RCGroups, FWIW. He sold it to get an Extra

I am trying to stay away from the Warbirds and Biplanes. Biplanes are too much work to transport to the field in my trailer, and I have enough warbirds

I would save up some cash and search RCU classifieds on a regular basis. When you find somebodys plane they built and want to sell jump on it.

Take a look at the PICs taken today at Toledo Liquidy. I am not sure how unique you want to get but I did see a 50cc P51 I think was displayed at the Aeroworks stand...or one of the top ARF suppliers. Irregardless that is new as of this year for that particular vendor. I know Pilot-RC is working on a couple of ARF warplane prototypes as well. Hope this helps.
