Just wondering if someone can give me the distance from the firewall to the wing tube on a comp-arf super xtra. And also the distance from the firewall to the front of the cowling. I'm keen to see if somehow I can squeeze one of the new 3W 210's in to one of these. Cheers

da 170 is all you need i had that plane with a 150 and it was enough for imac but not enough to pull out of a hover with authority.

IMAC is much more power hungry than being able to pull out of a hover. Mine used to haul out of a hover with excellent authority, IMAC is where the power is needed........ unless your chrisby flying a freestlye routine!! Marcus, having put a lot of hours on my super extra I can recommend trying to stay with a 157/170 class motor in an attempt to keep the model as lightly wingloaded as possible. I think the 170CS would be the best choice for the super extra. If you do go with the 210, I cant wait to see it!! ![]() Edit. A 170CS in the 3 metre 260 would be stupid powerful..... but do you really want to blend into the crowd with another 260??
