Default Pilot-Rc or EF 300 88in

I have looked through the EF 300 build thread but can't find a Pilot-Rc 300 88in build thread. I have narrowed my selection between these two. Now i'm stuck on which one. Any Suggestions?

I haven't owned or flown ether .But have heard good things about both. One thing to think about is having an American distributor for parts and service. Also for shipping damage. IMO.

Buy it from Troy Built Models and you have "American distributor." Even if you purchased it from Pilot RC, complete planes arrive from the factory in days. Parts will not be a problem. Just thought you'd like to know.

TBM must have just started stocking Pilot planes other than Yaks. Sorry? I really like the EF extras. They have been building them longer. Plus they build lighter. That's important in a 50cc plane unless you power it with a 58.

Here is a quick tip: if you buy an EF, get it from www.espritmodel.com - the total price with shipping will surprise you...I think it is $703 shipped to me in WA state.

He should buy whatever floats his boat. I'm just making sure the info is correct. I had an Extreme Flight Yak. And after I zeroed the stab incidence on both sides, it was an amazing plane. FYI Pilots' people have been building planes a long time as well. And 3 ounces isn't that much. All depends on how you equip it. Both come wit CF tubes and such. I'm just giving info.
