Default anyone done business with 3dfly.co.kr?

Looking for feedback and tips if you've ordered from this site.... the color schemes look awesome! I'm specifically interested in getting a 50cc sized kit here in Arizona.

What are the units on their prices?
Why not buy Chinese arfs from the many companies selling them here?

The pricing is on Korean Won.... 1,242.88000 to the US dollar right now. If shipping is reasonably, then pricing is competitive with what can be bought from a US company... the motivation is the variety of color schemes. I just don't see this kind of awesome pattern/color options in what's being offered US side. Maybe looking in all the wrong spots

I got their Yellow 25% Edge over the winter. I believe they are basically the same planes as Peak and Cermark. The order went well. The total was about $380 (including shipping). Since sold to a guy in Ohio.

JPHen
how'd you navigate the website to place the order? It's all in Korean

Thanks

I found the e-mail 3d@3dfly.co.kr and we muddled through some conversations to work out the shipment.

Actually, don't want to make it sound as if it was difficult - it actually went pretty smoothly. If I was interested in some of the schemes of their larger planes, I'd give it a go again.

Was payment worked through Paypal? What's your opinion on the quality of the Edge you bought?

Payment was through paypal. Regarding opinion; Quality was pretty good, covering was very good. I really liked the carbon servo horns and the linkages - they were pretty beefy for a 25%. I also liked the canopy mounting with the magnets. I didn't like the CA hinges, the too tight wing tube and the non-airfoiled elevator. The CG was waaaaaaay off - I checked with the Cermark Edge thread on RCGroups to get that right before the maiden. I would say that quality was above average. Like I mentioned earlier - I think these planes are from the same manufacturer as Peak Model and Cermark, from looking at the internals from some of their threads. BTW, I went electric on my Edge and recently sold it to a guy in Ohio.

I plan on going electric as well... I have a 70" Yak from Cermark that's awesome... I'm ready to hit the 85-88" size with a Power 160 and 10S setup. I'm thinking of sticking with the Yak model

Cool - that should be a pretty neat conversion. I have a Spin 200 and a Hacker A60 18m (probably too small for your plane) for sale if you're interested in either.
